**プジョー・シトロエン・ジャポン株式会社（本社：東京都渋谷区、社長：クリストフ・プレヴォ）は、PEUGEOT 308シリーズに「308 GTi by PEUGEOT SPORT（バイ プジョー スポール）」を新しいラインナップとして追加をし、本日より全国のプジョー正規販売網「プジョー・ディーラーネットワーク」にて販売を開始いたします。** 「308 GTi by PEUGEOT SPORT」は、プジョーのモータースポーツ部門であるPEUGEOT SPORTが徹底してチューニングを施し、圧倒的なスペックとこれまでにないスポーティな内外装を特長としています。 2015年の東京モーターショーで日本初公開として展示をし、大きな反響を受けました。ここに先進技術を結集したパフォーマンスフラッグシップとして308シリーズに投入いたします。ボディタイプは左ハンドルの5ドアハッチバックで、270馬力と250馬力の2タイプをラインナップいたしました。 搭載するパワートレインは1.6L ターボ直列4気筒エンジンで、最高出力を*270馬力にまで高めています。これに6速マニュアルトランスミッションを組み合わせ、さらに専用のサスペンションと*トルセンLSDを装備しています。圧倒的なパワーと、308の新型プラットフォームによる軽量化がもたらす最強のパワーウェイトレシオが、エキサイティングなドライブを可能にします。 エクステリアでは、PEUGEOT SPORT専用のフロントグリル、*19インチアロイホイール、サイドスカートなどを装着しています。スポーツマインドをかき立てるインテリアはレッドステッチをあしらい、専用ステアリング、*PEUGEOT SPORTの徹底したチューニングにより、燃焼効率を最大限に高め、ベースとなるエンジン1.6Lターボ（200ps）に対し、最高出力をそれぞれ270ps(+35%)、250ps(+20%)、最大トルクは330Nm(+20%)と大幅に上昇させています。同時にCO2排出量を低減し、JC08モード燃費は15.9km/l（270）を達成しています。ハイパワーと新開発プラットフォームEMP2による軽量ボディは、圧倒的なパワーウェイトレシオ（欧州仕様値、270:4.46kg/ps、250:4.82kg/ps）を実現し、これまでのプジョーの量販車において最もスポーティかつパワフルなホットハッチに仕上がっています。 シリンダーブロックは熱処理を施すことで強化をし、耐久性を高めました。ツインスクロールターボや、耐高熱スチールエキゾーストマニホールドの採用により、常にユニットを高温状態に保つことで吸気効率を最大化し、高効率、高出力を実現しています。新型鍛造ピストンヘッドは、F-1エンジンに採用されているアルミ素材を使用しています。さらに大型フロントブレーキディスクを装備するなど、徹底したチューニングを施しています。
